We'll have to give that one a lot of thought. In the meantime i'd like to say how honoured and flattered I am to become your first Chum of the month.I must say thank you to all my fans who stuck with me through good times and bad, to my manager for pushing me in the right direction, to my family who never stopped believing in me and finally to God i'd like to say "Thank you Mr Shatner".I just hope you aren't thinking of putting out a chum calender. Might I suggest a competition to design a "Chums of anarchy" T-shirt?
Excellent speech. Enjoy the 15 minutes mate; fames a fickle thing. Nominations are already being taken for September...The Chum calender gets vetoed by the executive steering committe of good taste merchandising (ie me) if sometone suggests a Women's Institute style nudie one.We do need a logo or badge, though...
Congrats to Neil for Chum of the month, well deserved I think :-)Well done Nick for creating the site and the new developments :-)Can I be chummy mummy :-) as I'm not allowed full patches because of the lack of compulsary tackle :-)
Positive feedback is always appreciated. On the subject of women chummers Cheryl has just suggested 'Chum-Jumpers' which is a bit...tasteless, but i think should be used for women who 'gravitate' towards the Chummers, then bed one or even two of them to get into the crowd.
How about just calling them chumpers. Chum jumpers definately makes them sound like groupies. Please don't tell me thats the official chum anthem, funny though it is. Even had some lady chums in there.
Chumpers is an excellent word, but it still somehow sounds insulting, mebby we can use it secretly behind the women-folks backs?:)
Good job that no-one suggested 'chum chafers'!! OOPS!!!! Sorry girls, I think that I just have!
P.S. Good work on the site Prez & I nearly signed my name as 'Saggy'! Not good!
Nice to see Shaggy has made it to the comments page.
Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Even an ITA challenged technophobe like myself. Had to say hello to everyone, even though I'll see ya all later. Carry on chumming dudes & dudettes!
With a heavy heart I feel that my first comment on this page have to be a public apology to Dennis for the mortal sin of missing his name of the stag do list I handed out on Saturday night, as an upstanding member of Chums Of Anarchy please forgive me.Three Hail Marys were said when I got home on Saturday night
It takes a big man to say he's sorry. Definitely the kinda stuff a 'Chum of the Month' is made of:)
Oh no cant call em chum jumpers sounds like some weird knitting club. How about CHUMLY HUMPS ;)
I don't mind if you want to knit me a chum of the month sweater Sandra just as long as it's tasteful and one size fits all. That way it can be passed on at the end of the month.
That's exactly what this club is about. Beer, rock 'n ' roll & comfy knitware!?! Please don't tell me we've reached that age!!
My vote for chum of next month is James barman exraordiaire from the Napper. Mostly for his outstanding effort to take on the likeness of the Napper unoform logo. Now thats dedication for you! I suggest we all do our best to look like Nick (el prezidente) I do believe I'm winning but thats just the beard :-)
Who cares about age it's the comfy knitware you want. I can picture you all in matching v-necks, y-fronts and balaclavas with a pint in one hand tapping your foot to wild thing. As for chum of the month i would advise a knitted badge as one size dosent always fit all ;)
Wow the comments page is really hotting up. This one will be 20 messages.Hmmm unfortunately I don't have anything memorable to say to mark it....Oh yes I do, remember those Chummers going to the away day next week, we are meeting at Woodies for a slap up mrs Miggin's-style breakfast at @9:00am.
I'll be there
Nice one Ewan, see ya there. Love Nicky's insight into J's King Charles look but all of us looking like Prez, CREEPY!!! What about Jovi? (sorry mate)
Jovi already looks more like me than the rest, he has cloned my leather jacket and is now wearing it. I looked at it hanging on the bar at Tuesday club and thought...'I can't remember bringing that....sh*t it's Pauls'.
well a chum of mine pointed me in the direction of this website thing... ive had a look and frankly its shi... (my backspace key seems to have failed, just ignore my typing slip up) its really quite impressive. im also pleased to see i have not been accepted as a chum of chum so in retalliation i shall write a nice message on here, how very british! See some of you soon no doubt!
Hey Crimbo Ian. You most certainly are a Chum of the Chums of Anarchy, actually as you have been quizzing and drinking with it you are ipso facto a Chummer...I just haven't managed to get you on camera yet. If you look on the Chums site you will see a temporary picture of i got on Google of 'Christmas Ian':)If you watched LOST I think you'll know him.
well prez, i feel honored and humbled by your kind words and effort!
Well this is nice :)all my social buds available in my own front room!...gonna have to stock up on nibbles & a couple of tinnies on those cold nights when i cant afford to go out! Sweeny Todd Paul..dont forget my Iron Maiden mouse mat :) good man.(just checking its really us!..could be imposters).
Yup it's a veritable virtual pub on the net these days.Nice to have a new Chum leave a message Dave. While i'm here can I ask those that haven't yet to have a look at the stag-so page. Ta.
Well done to the Prez the first chum to hand over the money for the stag-do lets hope the rest follow suit this weekend, as I would like to book very soon.I will be at the Friday club today and early doors saturday about 7:30pm until 8pm ish when I'll deposit any cheque/money in the bank wall deposit safe. And finally what a great away day to Newcastle was had by all lets do it again soon
Newcastle - What a grand day outFotos show the degeneration nicelyGlasgow or Edinburgh next? ? ?
I am still awaiting a 'decent' picture of you Gizmo from Nicky to put on the Chums gallery. Sorry you have had to wait so long.
Very good photo's of the day out. Well done Nicky for managing to organise us all enough to take them. I can see the Chummers days out becoming frequent events, like a plague on the British landscape!!!! Ha ha! At least 7 set off & 7 came back!
Thank you Shaggy, I am very pleased with the way the little photo documentary worked out I'm sure it will be used in many a case study for the future generation of chummers. And of course thanks Gizmo for the tour. I have sent a couple of photos of you to the Prez to add you to the site. My vote is Edinburgh next time - lovely city
I'll 2nd Edinburgh for the next tour of duty.
We have a chum tour guide living there, which is handy.
Very good point. Time we went up & annoyed Don.
Thanks to all for voting me the Chum Of The Month. Hopefully by friday my head will have shrunk enough to fit through the Napper door. And my liver and kidneys will have recovered from my Amsterdam trip - 5 days of 8-10% beers takes its toll - some amazing dark heavy beers which tasted like nectar - Makka, you'd love it
It was a good choice, you done a Chumly thing. Cheers.
While I'm here. We are talking about another Chum day-away. Most are agreed that Edinburgh should be next and at sometime during the Easter holidays. So look to your diaries to make sure you can make it.
Nice work on the site Prez, it's coming on a treat! Congrats to Gizmo for the COTM & Clago for his new job at EWN. Keep chumming everyone. P.S. Nicky's norks, WOW!!!
Thanks prez a lovely couple of puppies you chose there for me. And yes congrats to both Gizmo for COTM and Clago for his new job (hope you love it) hope to see you at Blaze Bayley - Tickets on sale at Ruby Blue for only 6 squid a head thats a bargain Fri 17th Sept.Great pics of Aug bank hols especially proud of my darts wins :-)Can I add a special thanks to Mike Vose for piping music outback for us rock types it has been great to hear those tunes, appreciate that x :-)
Hmmm I should have put a block on overt advertising on the site.....well I suppose it is for a good cause, Nicky:)
FIVE WEEKS THIS FRIDAY
Tick....tick....tick....gentlemen the countdown has begun....
Incidentally do we all realise that the CAMRA beer festival starts in Carlisle the day before we go to Nottingham? Oh god isn't Three nights on the beer enough???....sigh..
Mmmm, beer festival before stag weekend- sounds ominous!!! Not sure that I can organise dialysis for the whole group!
It will simply have to be on a first come first served basis then mate:)
Nearly at the 50th comment. Who will it be?
Not me. I have uploaded a few Metal videos with a difference. Go have a listen.
OK then, I'll steal the 50th comment just to praise the Prez on his sterling work on the site. It's good to still be able to contribute to the group even when work interferes with the social life. I,ll be back in circulation soon chummers & chuminas.
Just been peeking at ur vids, Dancing Dave put a large grin on mi mug:-) reminds mi of Techno Man. All u chummers could study the moves so u can go boogie together down the Ramblers on a Saturday night lol
Oh even better still with more room, u could just line up an dance on Botchergate ;-)
Why do you think we are away in October? We have booked a professional dance school for three days to learn how to 'make shapes' and line-dance a la Numa Numa style.:)
Hmm that was odd when i sent the last comment i was asked for validation. Has anyone else had that?
Happy Birthday to the great bald eagle.Drinkies Saturday?
I think that's the plan as the first-born's 21st celebrations this weekend took precedence. Happy birthday mate and a happy birthday to Nicola too:)
Qué castellano más fluido! Ese pedazo de traductor! Huele a google...jajaja Buenas "prez". Chumlectric quake arena. Nos vemos por allí!Terms that google don't translate fine and -i left others that my level of english can't correct jejeje:Pilladísimo: Alucinando, pasmado, en el contexto positivamente :)Por cierto: como "indeed", incorrecto es más como "y una cosa más" "decir algo más"
What's happened to this site? Has the Prez become 'El Presidente' or is it all in English & I've forgotten how to read!!!
Oy! Jovi, are you gonna come on here with some Polski. Actually knowing your stock phrases, maybe not mate.
P.S. I only know one foreign language. It's English but spoken v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y & VERY LOUD!!
How nice to have good wishes from our chums from other countries :-) maybe we could have an overseas chapter that we could go and visit. I'm sure there are many ales to try all over the world.
The Spanish one is from a Quake-mate, 'Florenelculo' who has looked at the site, but the German one was a bit of a mystery until i saw the name Mogwai. Deutschland uber alles, eh Gizmo?:...remember I said you can be un-chum of the month too:)
Incidentally can I take this opportunity to say I won't be attending the Tuesday Chum-meet. I have 29 weeks of attending a course on a tuesday night starting tomorrow.Bugger.
Dammit, forgot about your course Prez. Did notice the Quake Arena reference in Aurkitu's message, welcome to the site! Also Gizmo/Pedro/Mogwai/Ali, you can't hide behind a Gremlins based alias, you've more names than a dole cheat mate!!
P.S. Agree with Nicky, who would have thought that the chums would go international!!!
How do! Loving the whole chum concept, hope to chum you all on Sunday x
Nice to have you here, both. See what I mean about the great picture of you Nic?

No problem Ewan, it certainly was cracking night. Better late than never mate. Good idea for the Stag-do get together on Friday, got my shifts changed so I can make it.
Dammit!!! Just noticed those Chummer Cats are a pastiche of me & Jovi out back in the Napper on the August Bank Holiday 2010 photos! Curse you 'rock felines', get your own act! See ya all Saturday.

How nice to see Collie and Boney Tony on the old pics x
I saw Boney Tony a few weeks ago. He was out with his 21 year old daughter...that made me feel old.
Jaffa just for that comment about Kinrade and the fact you are not coming to the wedding, I have put up a picture of you in the vintage pics, you bloody Italian.
Thank you to all the great Chummers who made my birthday so special. Lovely presents and great card (well apart from the pics of me that is)anyway the site photos are great and I had such a brilliant time I might even have another birthday next year. Thanks again and have a great time in Notts. Thats the place not things sailors tie.Nicky xXXx

ok chum`s 2 morrow morning ,its a slap up breakfast and an flagon of ale c u then.
Hellooooo! We wish Prez & his chums a jolly jape over the weekend! We have been hibernating in Nashville, 36°C when we left. I, Nashville Nic, came home with a war wound, involving a dark bar, black steps & heels. A week off work (after 2 weeks hol) & a now yellow leg with a fetching lump. Let this be a lesson to you all, no heels under any circumstances!!!
The main event meeting time is just over 10,hours when 10 men will meet then leave Carlisle for Nottingham How many will return sober?
But how many will reach NOTTINGHAM sober?Hail Caesar etc etc...
The Chums are back (Yey!) Mostly in one piece.I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came; probably shortening my life by 5 years, but well worth it. Excellent time, Chums.I now am faced with the mammoth job of sorting through and uploading 250 pictures (and that's only two of the five cameras-worth we have). I will have to do it over time, so please keep checking back.Don't forget the reunion on sat night...Chum,. chum, chum, chum....
Headlines from stag weekend.RADA trained actor with role in The Lion King 2 tries out hyena voice on unsuspecting public. British scientists discover new hole in ozone layer over nottingham. Richard the Lionheart returns from Crusades to find middle aged pretender on the throne.
If anyone has a Facebook account, Dee has put up a 'movie' of pictures from the weekend. However the pics are small and can't really be seen too well...or at all if you don't 'do' Facebook:0
back from Nottingham, 06 00 start not good on Tues, back in the land of the living had alcoholic poisoning for three days c u on Fri chums
Pleased you all had a jolly time on your stag trip away. Not sure if Gizmo ever gets to read this while he's playing Popeye the sailor but we miss you and look forward to your return to the chums. Hope your not having to eat weevils and drink your own urine like Blackadder did, but don't worry we will have ale and pork scratchings a plenty on your return. :-)
Wel, well, well...comment number 100. I feel I should say something profound or inspiring. It's monday morning, so bugger that. What I will say is thank you Chums and all the Chums of Chums for visiting the site and making it worth while running.Nick.
Yaaaaaay!!! Dammit the echos of Nottingham are going to reverberate for a while. At least it's been well chronicled so that we can jog our drunken memories. Class weekend everyone. :)
Glad u all had a good time. Im sure ur drunken memories will reverberate and the toilet humor will echo for a while, did u mention i pod and Bon Jovie ;-);-)
Oh bugger u can see what ive done what a silly moo

Congrats to the bride & groom from me & my Mr, hope it all went to plan & there will be some photos for us to coo over? Loving the 'tache photo's, I got a photo to show you all of a guy working in The Hard Rock shop as it was so impressive, my photography skills are less so....
Cheers Nic! It went surprisingly smoothly, a good day had by all. See you two in the Napper sometime soon. X
Yey Chums.I may be 300 miles away, but I can still hear you all thanks to the power of a laptop and Travelodge WiFi.It's 12:30 am and Mrs Prez is upstairs dozing as she did ALL the driving today. I am i the bar drinking some very average Tetley's smoothflow. Thanks for the congratulations one and all, yes it was an excellent day and night...we're gonna have to get another Chum married so we can do it all again...Nic if you mail the picture (if you can)to email@example.com I will put it up to show all, the same with any other pics folks want to send.
Thanks to my leg injury we've been hibernating! Ian's shifts fall at weekends at the mo so we will see you when he's allowed out of the dark place!I'll try & remember my lead & send you the pic, its on my phone.Glad you had a lovely day, enjoy the rest of your break.

Prez, a couple of pics waiting in your in box of Ian & some new chums we made also one of Duane, the marvellous moustachio, he was such a great guy!
Hey M.M.Mark.Another Chum to the site. I am thinking of comng back a day early from the Honeymoon just so I can watch the Video:)Great to see you, shame you didn't do a 'spot' it would have been appropriate. Really great to meet Laura. We will have to hold a combined meeting of the Chums and the Pogel's Wood Appreciation Society soon.....wow what a power trip that will be for me.....gawwwahahahahah!
Hi Nic.Got the pic's. They look like spot-on geezers. Ian seems dwarfed by them. When I get back 'll upload 'Dwane' to the tash page, seems appropriate.See you two soon.
Love the wedding pic, you both look very posh!

Well I'm up for it mystery commenter...anyone else?Where is it?
Der, The Brickyard, it was me having a senior moment! I can vaguely remember you saying it was poo that the old establishment would shut on the one day of the year you wanted to do something.
a man walks into a butcher's and says,`have you got a sheep's head? 'the butcher replies,'no,it's just the way i brush my hair; bar-bar-bar!
I think me and my beloved will participate on this memorable day [prez] maybe catch up with some old chum's from bygone year's for a crack and ale.
Aye, shifts permitting I'll do boxing night too. A good way to celebrate!
Just practicing with new user names! We may well gatecrash your gathering on Boxing day!
You can't gatecrash something you are EXPECTED to attend Chums:)I like Ian username:):)
IanTanTethera tells me he's from farming stock yet he didn't know where I got his name from. If we'd had rugrats we would have gone for a girl, Metherea & a boy called Pimp! My lot are from oot west, he's Cargo stock, not that many sheep!
I'm making a few tweaks to the comments page. Maka suggested some of them and Weebly have finally added new functionality to the comments tools. I think I have date/time stamped it to BRITISH settings and am losing the old posts so we don'y have to scroll down as far to reply....here goes...
Damn forgot about BST
hay shaggy, who ate all the pies, good pic outside the napper, have you still got all your fingers.
Hey Shaggy (2), my god your hair has grown since I saw you last! Prez, love the photos, nice to have them in one place for posterity!
Yeh NNN I should have the wedding photos all up soon. I am waiting on the official photographer to get his a*se in gear and come up to Carlisle. Also just a quick reminder to all Chums that this Sat (the 13th Nov) is our Chum night out.
Hey NeedleNaddleNoo, the evidence of a years growth is on show (cheers Prez), good to have caught up with you two. Hey Maka, that was one fine pie, kept me going 'till the buffet & just about saved all my fingers!!!
Dammit, should of said the pie was a "Scooby snack"!
I could just eat a scooby snack instead of this cardboard Feasters wrap! Good to see you too, although the more drunk I got the more your t-shirt stared at me!
That's an odd coincidence, the more shaggy drank the more he stared at your t-shirt. Only kidding folks.
Aha, T-shirt Eddie has a life of his own, scary thought huh! Cheers to the Prez & wife for that thoughtful prezzie.
Scared the **** out of me!Presumably you know Iron Maiden are doing a tour next year then?
We got him the T-shirt for being such a splendid Usher.
What? Even with the comedy voice??? It was no problem mate!
There are some great pics on this site well done prez it all looks really cool. Welcome back to Gizmo who hardly got to unpack his bag before buzzing off to iceland, hope someone remembered to leave the lights on for you. catch you all at Wednesday club xXXx
Chums its only a few days away from COM. Nominations are being taken already, go to the Chum Of The Month Comments page to vote.
Myself & Iantantethera had a few sneaky JD's & coke in The Salisbury (Manchester) on Sat night. We said hello to the place for you all! I'm still suffering from the Jaegermeisters......
Nice one NNN, keep the chumly traditions going. It's a nice little boozer!
Tuesday's are for sharing... Clare’s Kangaroo. (by me)It’s often said from where I come, that Kangaroos are HaresOr more than likely it could be, that Ducks grow into BearsBut overgrown and on two legs, a Hare it could not beUntil the other day I saw, a Kangaroo laughing at meI stopped and looked, it beckoned to me, to come and have a chatSo strolled I did and over to, remembering to remove my hat“Good morning Big Brown Kangaroo, How are you today”“I’m very well my friend, that’s nice of you to say”“Please forgive me laughing, as you did walk on by”I’d heard a very funny joke, from a passing Fly”“He told me people from round here think that we are Hares”“So what do you think of that, if you have any cares”“Oh I care a lot of what you say my very fine Kangaroo”I’m sure it can’t quite be right, what a hullabaloo”“To think that Kangaroos are Hares is very strange indeed”“You’d need to have a lot of carrots in your daily feed”“I’d not confirm to what you say, regarding Big Brown Hares”But I do remember hearing, that Ducks turn into Bears”. ©Mark (Chumley) Britton
Going 2 hard rock hell 2 morrow,I think we need Rodolph and SATANS sledge 2 travel on,Its going 2 be baltic,Takeing my mole skin shreddies 2 wear, burrrrrr!
Aww shuks guys! What can I say? 'Tis a great honour to be nominated by my closest chums. Always a pleasure to be out chumming, never a chore! Especially following in the footsteps of such a fine crowd. After so many nominations just have to make sure that COTM is not closely followed by "W*nker of the week"! :)
[Moved from 'I have a Dream' Comments page by Admin]ChumsExcellent site, makes for great reading when you are a few miles from home!It may not be a record, but I'm reviewing the site from Seoul, South Korea, so if its not the longest distance comment, it won't be far away!I toasted the "happy couple" in Texas Bar, Yeoksam, Seoul, 11pm local time, 3pm UK time.CheersStitch (about to fly off to Kuwait tonight)
[Moved from 'I have a Dream' Comments page by Admin]I maybe the first to comment from a war zone!I wondered why Bridge over the River Kwai was on the TV last night? now where's my bowl of rice gone.......
Nice one mate.I actually do think you have the long distance Chum record now mate. Aa you are a regular Commenter (i.e. more than one) I will put a pic of you on the Chum gallery...only thing is I only have ones from 30 years ago:)
Hi there, met some of you last night in the pub & it was very entertaining cos i luv mad people! Very impressed with your website & looks like you've had some great times! Is there any way I can join up..I know i'd need more balls than I've already got to be a chum but how can I be a chumine, sorry if that's spelt incorrectly? You can get me on my e-mail or I'll check on here..also on Facebook..look forward to hopefully meeting you all again..& the ladies..x
Back from hard rock hell,it was a great time had by all,54 bands on in three days we seen 33 of them, enough to make your ears bleed.
Yey Chum, glad your back safe and sound. Meeting in Woodies wednesday Club if you are up for it Maka?
Another thing Chums and Chuminas, remember it's Jovi's birthday this Sat and he doesn't want it to be celebrated...so of course we are going to.Me and the wife are double-booked as we are off for a Curry at 7:30 with some folk but will catch up ASAP. We have his pressie already.
Hey Rhonda.I'm assuming you were at Hark Rock Hell and met Maka and Nicky? Where are you from?Incidentally you don't need to 'join' there's no formal process...you just need to drink with one oe more of the Chums...which you seem to have managed:)Nice to meet and welcome a new Chumina - that's how it's spelt BTW.
Happy b'day to Jovi, sadly Iantantethera & myself will be in Manchester & unable to buy him his b'day pint. We will however toast you all if we get to The Salisbury (wrong end of town this time). Congrats to Shaggy, top chum!
Cheers NNN. Good to see Nicky & Maka safely back from HRH having had a good weekend. Hello to Rhonda, good that you made it onto the site. The photo's definately give a good idea of what the chums do!
Jovi's having a B'day??? Bah Humbug mate you should have kept quiet like me last week.Won't be there to non-celebrate with you as am in Kendal. All the not-best.get that over with and then you can look forward to scrooging it over Xmas. Just watch out for that white wraith each night remonstrating with you.Humbugs United
If you Chums are all still going....tickets for 'Wheel night' (Boxing night doors 9pm) at Brickyard are £5 in advance & it doesn't mention anything about on the door prices on the website. Hope to see you there! Sunday 26th December 2010DO YOU REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME?Celebrate the glory days of the Twisted Wheel at this annual reunion. Dust off your doc martins, hunt out your converse and polish up your winklepickers to give them one more unforgettable night out with DJs uncorking all the baggy, britpop, goth and crusty classics.Doors: 9pmAdmission: £5.00 advance. Yey NNN. Boxing night & the Prez's birthday bash is still on for the Brickyard. See ya there if not before. Thanks for the reminder, we just need to get our *rses into gear!
Still enjoying the site, so I thought I drop you a posting as my world tour continues, I have left Seoul and travelled via Dubai to Kuwait. On the way I bumped into Shaun Ryder and Dom Jollie, not in the same league as the Hairy Bikers in the Kings Head, but out here you take what you can get!!I’ve got about a week in Kuwait (to dry out) before I return to the UK ready for Christmas, so I’m hoping the UK weather holds off, at least until I’m back home. All being well we’ll be in Carlisle for a pint of two during the holidays.CheersStitch
The important thing in life is to have a great aim, and the determination to attain it.
Hey Stitch.Good news about the coming back bit. I wasn't gonna bother putting your name on the Xmas card I was sending Lorrie and the kids, I suppose I better had now:) If you get over it would be really great if you could come out round Carlisle to meet the Chums. "You just DON'T know" as someone once said.
Why didn't I just google my nominated name eh? I am no longer in the dark Prez. I hope its not 'cos I look like Harry Secombe!!!
A few beers sounds like a great plan, but (and there is always a but isn't there)..........Getting over to Carlisle might be the easy bit. Looking at the weather reports for the next few days the tricky is getting into the UK. As long as I can get into Heathrow, the rest should be manageable.
The Needle Nadle Noo bit started out as a misunderstanding. You commented on the name I used for my Gods Of Irony e-mail (Neddy Seagoon) and I replied to yoour mail with one of the things he used to say 'Needle nadle noo!'Then you started using it. I didn't realise you thought it had been chosen for you. We don't do that!I like Coach Bags better:)
Hahaha, the daft thing is I thought it was a reference to my tattoes! Oh dear, I could have been ying tong iddle i po! I'll go & sit in the stupid corner a while......My dad calls me Nickynackynoo so it seemed appropriate.
You'll be walking backwards for Xmas next...:)
THERE AND BACK AGAINA tale by Gizmo BagginsWent to the airport.....flight cancelled......returned home......End of taleDepression, angst, and vitriolc outbursts notwithstanding
Poor Gizmo:( Another good set of Photo's for the site, good one Prez. Don came up tumps with the Wedding shots!
I second 'poor Gizmo', that sucks! The wedding photos look great, you all scrubbed up so well! How was your works do Shaggy, any shenanigans?
Hi NNN! No shenanigans, if only it had been that entertaining!!!! Should have stayed in the Napper & had a crack with you guys. It would have been better beer, music & more importantly, better conversation! Bah Humbug! See ya both on Boxing Night, if not before. X
A similar tale to Gizmo, went to the airportFlew to Heathrow,Onward flight (to Newcastle) cancelled when it was over 3 hours late,3 hours to reclaim baggage and then abandoned by BA.Ended up hiring a car and driving home for Xmas.... Que the music.....28 Hours travelling, Planes, Trains and Automobiles!!Cheers
Sandra has sent a poem which was too rude to leave here.:)To read it go to the Home Page for a password protected link to it.
Can I wish all the Chums & Chuminas on the tinterweb a very merry Xmas & a paralytic New Year!!! Good luck to all the travelers, Stitch sounds like you've had a nightmare. See some of you later others on Boxing day.
By the way, very funny poem Sandra!
Happy Xmas Chums and Chiminas, old and new, near and far.Nick.

Cheers Chum, an excellent birthday find for me:)
Hi Fellow Chummers and inas, so thats what its like to keep drinking until 4am, think we sobered up a bit on the walk home. What a turnout though for the prez's bday. A special well done to Helen for the pic and the cap which suits Nick scarily well. In need of several fry ups to get over this one. Hope you all had a cool yule and see you all on wed or NYE x
Oh forgot to say, Prez you may want to choose a colour other than black to chunter as we cant read it very easily :-(
Sorry about the show on your birthday Nick, too much alcohol consumed by both of us.Thanks to all chums and chuminas for looking after me and thanks to shtaggy for seeing i got into a taxi.Best wishes to everyone for 2011.

Boys & toys, what can I say, enjoy the new boat/ship!!
I think everyone has got the 'back to work' blues! Problem was, too many good festive nights out. At least the photo's do those nights justice. Good to flick through on a dull & dismal Tuesday! I'll raise a drink to more of those nights.
Finally got my marching ordersFlying tomorrow morningAll the best to all chums and chuminasSee you all mid-march.... hopefully

I'm just putting the pictures of last night up now. Have a look, see how awesome you think it was.WE are back to every other sat night now that Xmas etc is done. A few afternoon clubs are planned 'though.
Pic's look great, wish we could of been there everyone looks to be having fun all night long, here's to the next chum night when I will be out on
Hope you had a fab 'surprise' party H, sorry we couldn't make it, Iantantethera was in work 6-6 days Sat & Sun. Loving the plate people, I'm sure some of you are certifiable!
Some?Who is not doing it right then?:)
METAMORPHOSIS....Napper chums into plate people how can this be,It must have been all the pictures of the cricketer's that done it or waz it the tetley bitter ,I'm not drinking that again it sends you funny,It waz a good night, chum ,chum ,chum.ps when i got home on sat night i put myself in the dish washer,Im ok now i've had a pint of ale.
Great night at Helen's party well done to her family and friends for pulling it off and Happy Birthday Helen xXXx I don't recognize those strange plate people though who invited them?
Quite, an excellent night had by all. Glad Helen managed to enjoy herself despite all the attention! Denise, Darren & Ali X2 did a great job of organising the party & the Chums. Don't know how Darren got her into the Cricket Club without using a large stick!!!!!
Ooops.I have just made a BIG boob. I've just read Helen's lovely thank you to the Chums for being at her great do on sat, then tried to reply to it from work (using remote computer) at home. I have ended up deleying her comment!!!! There is sometimes a lag with the remote software which means you sometimes click, think nothing has happened and click again then the first 'click' activates.Really, really, sorry Helen. Could you re-send it??:(
Phew I've been quite clever and got it back.....thanks to all the chums for attending my surprise party. took a miracle to get u all out the kingshead What a shock seeing so many of my friends altogether. Thanks for the card, my nottingham ticket is now bought. and special thanks to Ian for the meal last nite, I'm worth it!!!
More good news.Dee has been in touch and he is on board for Chums Away 2011.That's 12 of us, a goodly number. More information on the password protected 'Chums Away' page, Chums
Great to see dee on board,The 12 deciples of to the promised land in nottingham for fun frolicking and flagons of ale,yip-peee!!!!
I prefer to think of us as the Dirty Dozen...:)
Yey, the 'Dirty Dozen From Dottingham', for anyone who remembers the old flu advert. Good to have the 1st piece of the weekend in place, welcome aboard Damien!!! I can feel another legendary stint in Nottingham coming up. See some of you on Friday.... chum, chum, chum!!!
P.S. Well done Nicky for getting that cracking deal.
Rather than the Dirty we may have a baker's dozen. Jay has asked if Anna can come too. I'm sure that no one has any objections? We should look for another Chum to invite as that will mean we still have one spare place.
Hmmm I was looking back at the first few messages and noticed the one I had put up when the board hit 20 comments. It seems relevant as we have recently hit 220 (who'd have thought?) and also due to its content. I assume we will be doing likewise when we go away? Message 20'Wow the comments page is really hotting up. This one will be 20 messages.Hmmm unfortunately I don't have anything memorable to say to mark it....Oh yes I do, remember those Chummers going to the away day next week, we are meeting at Woodies for a slap up mrs Miggin's-style breakfast at @9:00am.'
How good is that, the old Newcastle trip that was the dress-rehersal for the stag weekend. Now it's Nottingham revisited, it's quite spooky! Love to have Anna along with us, the more chuminas the better this time around. Think they'll all love the Nottingham crack. I'm sure we'll all chip in for extra's, Yey, chum chum chum!
Those chums off to Nottingham check your e-mails for some important stuff.
Just a quick hello to Gizmo for whenever you can get on the site. Now, get off the computer & STOP CRASHING THAT SHIP!!!!! He he he! Prepare for Nottingham :)
Love the photos of Shaggy & Dennis, superb! Think I may have been too pissed to speak to on Saturday, we'd been out a while.....can vaguely remember Shaggy's hair making an appearance!
AHOY Gizmo hope your keeping that new boat all shiny and having some decent weather instead of this freezing fog. Let us know where you are and bring yourself home safe and sound x
Yo NNN! Don't worry about Saturday, you didn't need an interperator. Good night was had by all............again!!! Hopefully catch up with some of you tomorrow.
Loving the B.O.C. "Reaper" home page photo. Just to let the Nottingchums know, Nicky & myself are sorting out the tickets for our jaunt tomorrow. One step closer, YEY!!!!!!!!
P.S. this will be for a stop off at Manchester on the way there & a spell in Newcastle on the return journey. More information will follow. Sounds like a cracking weekend for Maka & Nicky.
As the Chum above says, more information has followed. Look at the NottingChum 2011 page.
YEY!!! It's written in stone, travel & Hotel booked & paid for. Prepare your Livers for one hell of a weekend & watch that countdown. Chum chum chum!!
Hay chums, some beer related sayings. BEER:HELPING UGLY PEOPLE HAVE SEX SINCE 3000 B.C.!!!......24 hours in a day,24 beers in a case.Coincidence?.......A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory........Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink..........When i read about the evils of drinking,i gave up reading.
"I drink - therefore I am" as the piss-artist DeCartes probably said.
"I'm pink -therefore I'm Spam" as a tin of chopped meat probably said too.
Its that Saturday night again when chums meet up for a few drinks in the napper it's going to be hard work but I think I'll make it, drag myself out into the bad weather and go and sit in the company of friends hard work I know but worth it
I'm almost speechless, that is as I am never totally speechless, it gets even worse with wine!. Thank you for the great bestowal of honorary Chum, I will endeavor to participate and perpetuate all things Chummy with great gusto in the future. Thanks Chums xXXx
You are welcome...Chum.x
Congratulations Nicky, warm fuzzy feelings all around!
CHUMS...anyone going to go and see silver cloud TODDY'S band at the brickyard fri 25th feb £5.00.....£6.00 at door.
anyone going to see Declamation at club rock on the 25th feb. FREE
What time are the bands on? Mebby we could do both?
If you know Toddy & aren't still in contact with him he goes on the CUFC online website as Northernlad, I'm sure he'd be chuffed to know you are supporting him.
Congrats Nicky, chum chum chum! Declamation will probably start around midnight but it depends on when Club Rock gets busy & there will probably be 2 sets so both bands might be possible :) Hope that helps chums.
Silver Cloud 25th February
The band are getting together for a one off gig to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their last reunion gig which took place at Stars & Stripes, Carlisle in 1985.
A night of ROCK with fantastic support (to be confirmed soon) and a special guest appearance by Col Harkness of rock legends, Spider!! Featuring: Eddie Williams (Lead guitar & vocals), Michael Todd (Bass) and Stuart Dodd (Drums).
Don't miss this once in a lifetime event while you are still - TOO YOUNG TO DIE.....
Admission: £5.00 advance/£6.00 on the door.
So who is going to what?
Let's have some discussion please...
I will be off down to the Brickyard for sure, and for a few good reasons...
1. I was at Silver Cloud's last gig 25 years ago; and a very good night it was, too:)
2. Spider were the FIRST band I saw at Kreeps, probably nearly 30 years ago.
Me and Nicky going to the Brickyard, see you in napper before hand at sum point,Chums.
You can all work out which band I'll be going to see. Hopefully catch the rest of you for a couple in the Napper before I head down to Club Rock. Watch the countdown, less than 2 months to Nottingham, YEY!!! See those chums out for Wednesday club.
Do any of you chums remember before the 2004 World Cup when David Beckham f*cked his 5th Metatarsel & The Sun ran a front page story with a photo of the offending foot & invited all it's "readers" ( & I use that term loosely ) to touch the foot & pass on the collective healing powers. Well I was just wondering if we could try that one on the site with Maka's shoulder??? F*CK, just remebered that it didn,t work for Beckham. Better luck this time mate! All the chums are thinking of ya.
The 'odds & sods' page ( or should it just be 'odd sods') is coming along nicely. Why is there a photo of me that looks as if it's straight out of 'The Ring'? Never should have watched that video! Oops, have to go, the Phone's ringing!!!!!!!!! P.S. Will some other chums leave a message, getting bored with just seeing mine, ta.
It is a rather scary pic, isn't it? You look like you are about to change into some kinda daemon.
What about the one I took of my own bum? How clever was that? Actually I dropped the camera and it went off.
Number 24, I was going to ask about that one now I know
I do think we all look better in black and white & the other, it hide our ages I think
It makes us all look sophisticated too...
Ha ha Prez, see what you mean. It makes Jovi look like a good little boy who says his prayers at night! As for the other photo you mentioned, quite literally a 'bum chum'!!! Ewan, totally agree mate, takes years of abuse off us.
It is an excellent pic of Paul. I have replaced his 'The Chums' pic with it.
Milly takes agood pic too, his face is 'lived in':)
The first time I met Milly I was mesmorised by his wit. The second time he scared me witless& the last time....he wrote on my boots. A star in my eyes & a man of many talents.
Oh, hope you all have a great night tonight regardless of your venue choice, Iantantethera is in work at 6am tomorrow so I am keeping him company & drinking tea whilst he has lashings of ginger beer.
Cheers NNN! Yes Milly is a star, fits right in with us 'oldies'. Sorry you & Iantantethera can't join us tonight. I'll have to fling my hair about with ya the next time I see you. X
Just another thought about Milly. It would be good to get a piece of his poetry in 'Poets Korner'. Must have a word with him about that, see if he'll donate a rant :)
Did you all have a good night on Friday at your respective venue of choice? I drank tea on Friday but myself & Iantantethera made up for it on Sat! Club Rock, ahhh, I can just about remember leaving!
Merry Monday chums, GRRRR!!! Where does the weekend go? Hi NNN, unfortunately Declamation's gig was cancelled because of P.A. problems in Club Rock but still a good night despite the music being sh*te! Those that went to Silver Cloud seem to have had a fun night too. We always have a laugh. Sounds like Club Rock was back on form for Saturday & at least you can remember something :)
Yes it was a good night NNN and ITT, shame you couldn't make it. Look at the pics.
It's going out Sat this weekend coming, are you out then??
Yer good nite with Silver cloud saw some old faces (or did i mean wrinklys)i aint seen in a couple of decades or 3, then managed Club Rock till 3.30am. Was a shock when i got up at 2 in the afternoon looked in the mirror and saw Frank Gallagher it was shameless lol. Oh well managed to brush up and dust down for Sat nite round town and Club rock again ;-)
C u all in Napper Sat :-)
I bumped into Ewan on the way home today and he says to let everyone know he has ordered a certain item for Sat night.
Sorry if this is a bit too cryptic but someone MAY be reading these comments:)
Sandra you are a dirty stop-out, party animal...how do you do it?
Sadly, we miss Sat night as we are in Glasgow for ITT's birthday, got tickets for Jack Bruce (he of Cream fame), yeah, he's getting on a bit but its gotta be done! Hubby's shifts mean we are out of sync with you all, 'cept Shaggy whom we've bumped into! Have a great weekend!
Photo's are fantastic, looks like a great night. Image 9, a certain young barmaids dad has a very strange, er, well just look at it! Lets just say it's not exactly a 'behind you', more of an 'infront of you'!!
Well spotted NNN. The 'behind you Chum' collection continues to grow:)
I have the certain item for Sat night.
Great stuff Chum. Now we just better hope a certain person turns up too:)
Weebly have just asked me to cough up more money, which means the site has been running for six months now.
Thanks to all who have contributed to it and made it such fun.
...who'd have thought it would still be running, eh?
By the way. No one has commented on the mysterious Chumina pic yet...
Can't believe that's the 6 months anniversary of the site, that's just flown by. Nice work Ewan mate, say no more!!! See some of you later at 'Wednesday Club'. To those I don't, see ya Saturday.
Just had a deek at the vintage pic, I'm gonna say it looks like a wee Ruth! Sorry, she still is a wee Ruth!! :)
I'm not saying yer right....I'm not saying yer wrong....anyone else?
I think Ewan may have to be banned from this discussion.
I saw the 'Certain person' this week and told them if they didn't make an appearance on Sat night there would be a lot of unhappy/miffed Chums.
Good nite on sat :-)
If your board and want a new CHUM vocabulary then this may be for u........Google...chum chum and go on urban dictionary it can give a whole new meaning to chum words.
Sandra's right...on both counts - a very good night and the new definition of Chum Chum. I'd not heard that one before.
By the way, can people start to pass on pics they took of 'Wiggy' Ian on sat night? I will upload them to celebrate his landmark birthday.
Totally agree with Sandra too. Interesting definition. A cracking Saturday night, 'Wiggy' Ian seemed to really enjoy the night. That nickname may stick!!!
Just like to say, hope the Prez's dad has a fine recovery, get well soon. No Jay at Nottingham & now no Gizmo either :( It's gone from the 'dirty dozen' to the Tw*ttingham Ten V2.0 !
I think the pic is Santa :-)
Lovely to have Gizmo back amongst us once again, gutted it's for such a short time and will miss him like mad at Nottingham but wish him well in his new post. We should make the most of him while we have him here ha ha ha ha!(wicked laugh like the count on sesame street)
Thanks for the good wishes, Chum. Much appreciated.
We seem to have a mystery comment (or lack of) from 'vatreni'. Any ideas anyone?
The e-mail given is from 'labunista' which is - 'a village in the southwestern region of the Republic of Macedonia, located in Struga Municipality' - Wikipedia
The plot thickens....
There you go, the site is becoming both entertaining & informative with added 'knob jokes' for good measure.
Chums...BEER FESTIVAL time again, starts Wednesday chum club 23rd March in the woods, lets see what delights it brings,if anyone would like a scem all welcome.BUURRPPP!!
Love Wiggy Ian pics! His daughter Maddie was a good chum of mine & would have found it hysterical that you refered to him as 'Scouse' (Man U daft). We are in Glasgow at the weekend, ITT & I, so will miss your frollics.
ps anyone else enjoy those chips as much as me last Friday, oink oink!
CHUM CHUM CHUM its nearly time for saturday night out
Hi NNN. We knew fine well what Wiggy Ian's football allegencies were when we called him 'Scouse', he he! Those chips were spot on. Grand Saturday night out chums, catch yer for the beer festival, mmmm!
Hey! Only just spotted a picture of me in the witches hat!!! Didn't even realise that one was taken... Might I just comment, image 15 of 18 in the odds and sods folder... nice bum!! ;-)
Keep in touch chums!
Just received flight details for Monday
SUNSET and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
Oh trust you Gizmo, the poemm they read at my Grandad's funeral (and his dad's although I wasn't there)! I do love it though.....good ole Tennyson. Hope you don't really 'cross the bar' its a long time off your time!
All figuratively speaking of course
In a way i do 'cross the bar' each time away....
then return, resurrected and re-juvenated... liver and kidneys especially
Great day yesterday
Many many thanks for 'Little Giz'
We spent a wonderful night getting properly aquainted.............amazingly he talks more than Little Ruthie
Thanks Nicky - Lol
If we don't see you beforehand, have a good tour Giz! Looking at the number of messeges on the site, it's time for another insightful & illuminating comment. During a 3 week beer festival????? Well that's not gonna happen is it children? See those attending the chums solemn duties tomorrow, all thinking of ya Prez!
Well here we are Chums; comment 300 (Yey!)
I think this is an excellent place for me to thank everyone for being so supportive to me and Mrs Prez through all the stuff thats been happening over the past few weeks.
Chumly stuff, indeed.
I'm not great at knowing what to say Prez, so a beer for you & yours next time we see you.
Yet another observation on Friday from your sis that Iantantethera looks like Dr Brian Cox! He can't see it himself but I've had txts of friends asking me how Brian is!?
And are there any more chums that have looky likeys? Apart from Gizmo that is!
Thanks NNN, everyone has been smashing, yourselves included.
I like the Chum lookalikes idea.
I will make a page and folk can e-mail suggestions and provide pics where needed.
You have mail!
All to soon its goodbye to Gizmo, take care xXXx, it delights me to know that Gizmo and little Giz have bonded I'm sure they will be great companions and have hours of endless fun :-) NNN I do see the resemblance to prof Cox next time we're out we will ask Ian to sing 'Things can only get better' and see how he gets on. For chum lookalikes I'm going for Maka being the spit of Simon the hairy biker. See you all Sat X
Hope Gizmos stiches heal well, he was in alot of pain, little Giz can take car of him :o) Dr Cox was in a rock band too, please dont get ITT to sing D'ream crap! There is a picture disc of them (rock band Dare) in Solid Rock, a bar we frequent in Glasgow, he was almost as hot as my hubby!
Dare was formed in 1985 by Darren Wharton after Thin Lizzy had broken up. By 1987 Dare had gained a local following in Oldham and they were offered deals from A&M, RCA and MCA records. The band's debut, Out of the Silence, was released in 1988 on A&M Records. Dare had minor success in Europe, but album sales flagged and the band was dropped from their label after their second album Blood from Stone.
Dare are also notable for featuring Brian Cox in their original lineup. Cox played keyboards on the Out of the Silence record, before earning a first class honours degree in Physics.
I'm really enjoying the lookey likey thing!
Couple of things.
Firstly I missed seeing Cath's comment a while ago. Nice to hear from you girl.
You know when and where we drink, so see you soon, mebby?
Secondly after talking to 'Ripper' John on Sunday afternoon (and witnessing the birth of his nickname:)we will begin looking at re-creating the photograph (see other comment forum) after we 'do' Nottingham.
We will have to discuss it all in detail a week or so before we all meet up. Donald has volunteered to be the picture taker, so the event itself will have to be when he can make it.
Thumbs up to the lookey likey page there must be more out there ;-)
Love the 'Chum Look-a-like' page, very good. Yes, the season for the photo re-creation is upon us. 'Ripper John', who'd have thought, ha ha! On the subject of Friday night, CRAIG CHARLES! Who'd have thought he'd be in the Napper for a pint?
Cheers Prez x
LMAO at the Chums Lookalike page!!!
Have emailed a lookalikey pic...
Don't tell him Pike
I've got my Scooby snack :)
The Look-alike page is really gathering pace now, some very good calls. Just a quick thought, in two weeks time it'll be 'Breakfast in Nottingham' when the Tw*ttingham ten ride again, YEEEYYYY!!! CHUM CHUM CHUM!

Oooh I'm getting excited. See you at Woodies on Wed....but keep off the 6.2% stuff!
Very envious of all you chums off to Notts in....no time at all! ITT is sadly working all that weekend, and the next so we don't even get a proper easter. Have fun, have a few pints for us & Gizmo wherever he may be at the moment!
Just checked out the looky likey page and if I had a c**k I'd have just laughed it off! My gorgeous hubby has just gone from being a particle physicist to a gummy old git! Love it, so will he !
The countdown says one week to go, YEY! Prepare for Nottingham.
You will all have a blast!
Not sure why Shrek hasn't made an appearance on the Lookey likey page!? I'm loving it. I could nominate myself as Eddie Reader but I've put almost 4 stone on,had a hair change & lost the bin lid specs since then!
See yew's for wed club chums, and then it's pack your bags D DAY'S on the horizon, YEY!!
Don't finish work till 5 on Wednesday but catch up with you all after that. Last briefing before we head off, YEY!!!
Just a thought. Saint or sinner! That may be one up for debate, haha!
A last briefing indeed. Got me shorts and new toothbrush packed ready and three Sherpa's hired to carry Cheryl's bags.

Me think we need a bigger bag ?
Or at least she needs a bag of her own
never mind it just to late to get one, some items of hers just can not go to Nottingham after all
Ours are finally packed too. After much deliberation we have left the kitchen sink.
It's gone 2am and I really should go to bed.

Looking forward to seeing the photos!
That's about 2/3rds of the pics up.
Those of you who are friends on facebook with Dee can see more in his album too.
I will knick some from there eventually and put copies here.
Thanks (??) to Cath for the latest look alike, me and Ken.
Ohhh Matron. Stop messin' about! I can't see it myself:)
The photos are great, you look like you had a blast. Welcome to Ripper John, see you at Marcus Bonfanti gig with my hubbys ex neighbour!
Happy Anniversary Nicky and Maka!!

IT will allow access to the 'behind you chum! PAGE too so you can put your own ones up too instead of having to send them ot me.
Its good experience to learn how to make a web page and more interactive.
If you want to take it further I will give you pages where you can have your own stuff ( FOR EXAMPLE Dee and Dennis you can collaborate on, or have your own art gallery pages)
If you want to; let me know by e-mail or comment page.
You will get an e-mail from weebly, just open an account (2 minutes to do) and start doing stuff:)
It's easy. Dont worry you can break the site and I have backups.
Lets see some stuff....
WOW just pressed play
It hasn't compressed very well, the images are too blurred, esp when you play in full screen....grrrr.
But very well put together, well done
I'm uploading the Easter Friday pics as we 'speak'.
I notice that there are three 'Behind you Chum!' pics all in a line, SOMEBODY should upload them to the Maka page....:)
Excellent afternoon/evening all, cheers chums and see some of you Sunday...chum...chum...chum
Happy 25 years to the Makers hope you have another 25 good ones
Happy anniversay from me and the wife too.
I hope the cake is tasty:)
Me too. All the best to Maka & Nicky. The photo's are looking good :)
P.S. How many bl**dy look-a- likes am I going to get? Not that I can complain about Errol Flynn!!! I WISH!!!!!!!
That's what you get for growing your hair Shaggy!!!
Love the little 'video' of your trip, you clever Chum!
Wednesday Club chums. Woodies at 3:30ish for me.
Still no takers on having a page all of your very own to do with as you will Chums?
Sorry about the Debbie Does Dallas Nic; but the open mouth, the look, the angle AND the stuff on the nose....:)
Good to have you both out today.
The pics are hysterical, not sure I'll be drinking sneck lifter again if it makes Iantantethera think he's married to a porn star!
The pics were good, helped by large measures of Champagne and Snecklifter. It's a strong brew indeed, NNN.
The other Nic(ky) has e-mailed me with some Easter pics which I am upoading now. She has also agreed to help edit the site and will be dabbling as webmaster (mistress?) soon, so keep an eye on the Nottingchums 2011, Chum Alike and Maka Pages...
Rambo's the man of many faces,he's the first trans gender look alike, deek yew's for wed club in woods let's hope thay've got some ale all welcome chums.
Yup i'm very pleased with the Rambo-alikes indeed. See you all for Chumlyness this afternoon.
===STOP PRESS NEWS====
I've just heard Evil/Psycho Mike has a job at the Hospital.
Another NHS Chum.
He starts on the 16th May, so look out for him.
Hadn't realised that one Prez. I'll catch up with the news at Wednesday club.
Cushty Shaggy, Woodies Chums?
BTW Me and Rob Halford were having a couple of beers with Chris Tarrant today, dontcha know?
Aye, aye, aye, aye....
Hope you have recovered your cold Shaggy.
Lucky lucky chums, Iantantethera & I are ships that pass in the night, I'm in work at 5.30am tomorrow & he finishes his day at 6am tomorrow.
Well cheers chaps for the Linda Carter lookie like didnt expect to see that. Havent seen u all for a few weeks but will be in Napper sat for a catch up :-)
Your absence was noticed last Sat night out. I hope you have a note from your mum saying why you were off?:)
Regarding this sat night out coming. I dunno what time you are out but we are going to Dee's (Chris Tarrant) BBQ first.
We hope to be back in town about 9ish but cant swear to it. If you want to come to the BBQ e-mail me your phone number and i'll send instructions/locations.
This applies to any other chum/chumina who is out this Sat.
Hmmm the font isn't too clever at writing numbers.
To clarify we hope to be in town at NINE-ISH
Thanks for that but i will go to Napper 9ish walk down with mi lass who is working at the WALL its the UBER after parties or what ever. We should have organise for the lookie like chris moyles to go to the Black bull kirkoswald cause he,s been boozing all week there he he, mi sister didnt tell mi till last night or i would av gone for one just so i could say i sat in the same room lol ;-)
I'm very disappointed no one has had a go at guessing the Vintage Chum pics.
I have a bunch more to put up too, but there doesn't seem any point if no-one is commenting on these ones.
just as well you reminded us, I think child B is Dennis- C is Damian - A is Fiona, there started the ball rolling. Can I please remind everyone that Sat 28th May is an extra special (boozy) night out as its Makas birthday with very special chum star Damian who's birthday it also is Hurrah! and to mark the occasion I have taken Sunday off as a holiday so will be hitting club rock Double Hurrah!! hope all chums chuminas and chum associates can make it yyyyaaaaayyyyyy xXXx
Interesting choices for the pics. I will say how well you did after everyone/anyone else has had a go.
Regarding the 28th we might have to have a countdown for such a memorable event:)
Hopefully Iantantethera & I will be in the Napper before we go to the Brickyard, See you then!
ps I happen to know Ripper John & his good lady wife will be going to the Brickyard too.
You mean on the 28th?
Excellent stuff Chumina.
Yip! I agree with Nicky, child C looks like Damien.
Sounds like it'll be an excellent turnout for the Champions League Final on the 28th, or have I got that wrong!!! Looking forward to that night already after missing Damien's party. Looks like the chums had a suitably good night. Catch up with anyone out on Sunday club as I'm out of circulation this week due to work shifts :(
P.S. I'm rubbish at these but is child B Ewan?
NO I DO NOT THINK SO
Back to the grind,back on sh*t shift what a B'STARD,see yew's soon.
Bloody awful way to go back mate. If it's any consolation I don't know if i'll be at the club today either. Ian's on nights, Paul doesn't finish 'till after 5 and i'll have to be away by 6. Also I have left my mobile at home so can't find out who else (if anyone) will be there.
Hang on in there Maka, clubs are like buses, there'll be another one along soon!!!! Hope the shoulder is holding up. See Ewan, I said I was rubbish at working out the photos, not even close!
Hi folks :-) I think picture B is Jovi but don't know woh the other is ?
Great BBQ the other night with even greater company. Once I get my back yard sorted I may have to have a housewarming barbie if anyone is interested. Cant promise the same pyrotechnic display though. As for the mystery chums, how about a.Damian, b.Jovi and c.Dennis?
Could the last three commenters check their e-mails. I have sent something that urgently needs your attention.
Re the Three / One mystery chum pics i think it's birthday Pauline. Although I suspect it's Damian. Three pictures three ey ey eys.You know it makes sense
I saw NNN on the way home today. Just want to wish them both a happy concerting at the weekend.
QOTSA rocked on Friday thanks! Saw a few stray chums on Sat night & then deserted them for ITT's old buddy we hardly ever see. When are you putting us out of our misery re the baby pics? Has no one got it right yet?
Glad you had a good un.
I will be unveiling the mystery chum sometime this wek as I have another mystery chum waiting for your delight and delectation.
At the moment the current favourite by a huge margin is Dee.
Does no one think the pictures are a bit too...feminine? The last one is clearly a girls romper suit. Or do you think Dee wore a lot on hand-me-downs and was the youngest child with a bunch of sisters?
Chuminas get to look like foxy chicks & Milly gets the crack fox. Life is so unfair! I'd rather remember the 90's when I was skinny with a ginger bob & got called Scully, but hey, the aging process takes its toll!
It must be nearly Gizmo time maybe if we call really loudly he will answer and appear, all together now GGGIIIIZZZZMMMOOOOOO come home!!!!!! xXXx
GGGIIIIZZZZMMMOOOOOO come home!!!!!!
Or at least send us an e-mail.
Cracking do on sat chums, thanks a lot it was BANG ON!!!!!
THANKS TO ALL THE CHUMS AND CHUMINAS FOR THE LOVELY EARINGS.HOPE YOU ALL HAD A GOOD NIGHT DESPITE MY BAD BEHAVIOUR.POOR PAUL!!! HAVE APOLOGIESED TO HIM AND HOPE YOU WILL ACCEPT MY APOLOGY TO YOU ALL. LOVE YOU ALL.xx
Top night, top company, and I am now frantically trying to grow a moustache as I had such a positive response from some non chums in club rock!
Cheryl, the cake was superb, hope the birthday boys & girl enjoyed it as much as me!
I agree with the above great nite, yummy chummy cake, good humour, moustaches, eye patches and rock and rollers.
Till the next time :-)
Aye, in total agreement. A belter of a night, hilarious! See ya all soon, hopefully a few might be out now!!!!
What a great night on Saturday, thanks everyone for being such fun, Thank god I took Sunday off. Great photos on the site too thanks Nick. The chumalikes are hilarious we are spoiled for material we're such a good looking lot, all of these celebrities trying to look like us its amazing! see you all soon chum chum chum xxxx
The video & triple birthday pics, outbloodystanding. Clever Pres, I have laughed myself silly. Cheered me up no end after my second 5.30am start!
I wanted to get it finished before the Maka's fly away. Just made it.
ITS A CRACKER,jolly good fun by all well done Nick, deek yew's all when we get back any one for thurs club on the 16th for a catch up,chun chum chum yaaaay!!!!
Fantastic montage Prez. Really shows off the best (and worst) of the chums. Thanks for giving me the first guitar solo, although Nicky's was by far the best. Who could have known we had such talented musicians in our little group. Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Chum chum chum!!!
Brill, Brill, Brill & totally chumtastic!!!! Great video Prez. Loved the close-up of my tash too!!! - Flashheart-tashheart!! Looking forward to Saturday already!!!
The next comment is going to be number 400. It better be a doozy; full of gravitas, profound and exceptionally poignant....so no pressure there...
NICE ONE watched all the vid's and deeked at all new pics lol, got to say Kimberley looked like she had growen that tash.
C U all Sat :-)
I know what you mean Sandra.
The phrase 'Collar and cuffs' has beeen used quite a lot.
happy **th birthday to sandra for this wednesday 15th. hope you have a good day. xxxx
People should really let the Chums know these things in time to organise a proper celebration.
Have a very happy birthday Sandra.
Thanks you did'nt have to put mi age on ;-), well celebrated last Tue for Daughter no 2 her 18th, then Sat for daughter no 1 her 20th and i celebrate then aswell, so after napper i landed in the wall like a danceing fool but hey who cares, i can do next weekend with the same excuse yey ;-)
Got back to blighty last night, nice to get back to this weather ( NOT ) deek's yew's all soon.
Nice to have you safely back.
YAAAAY!!I need a real ale fix ive got Mythos and Amstel coming out of every orifice.
Ah, the 80's, how I remember them well, 'American Graduate' style glasses, yup that's what Superman wore! I went from those to round John Lennon ones in the 90's - all the rage! More Eddie Reader in those days, before the beer belly arrived :o)
What do ya mean they 'were' all the rage??
Nice to see GIZMO LIVINGSTONE and IAN STANLEY back from exploration of the Dalston tundra yesterday,it's napper night tonight nice to see dee out,see yew's later,YAAAAAAY!!!!!
Aye, it's extreme conditions out on the Caldew. Especially when you have to endure a couple of cold, refreshing, tasty pints in the Bluebell afterwards. Speaking of pints, chaged my on-call & will be out tonight, thanks go to Blytho's better half!!
A full Chum night out? Excellent.
I am training all day today so will deffo need a few beers tonight:)
the holiday butterfly on Maka's page is a Scarce Swallowtail ( Iphiclides podalirius ). Named for it's very rare visits to Britain but widespread over the rest of Europe. An excellent photo well done guys, I'm still working on the bird but don't have much hope for the wasp. yaaaaaaaay.
Love the retro picks of Ian, Carol you little minx!
Yes, the vintage pics are excellent. Think the holiday bird is the mediteranean race of our own Eurasian Jay. It varies quite a lot throughout its considerable range & can have the black head cap, notably in the North African territories. SHIT, just noticed I'm a geek!!!
Dammit, only just noticed Milly's "Ode". Cracking wprk Chum.
P.S. A shed load better than my typing skills!!!! wprk is not some strange code, it's just a really cr*p attempt at typing WORK!!!!!!!
Maka - If I'm Livingstone and Shaggi is Stanley what does that make our third partner, Denis?
4 mins 14 secs to notice you can't type
slow, mate, s...l.....o......w
too much blood in the alchohol perchance??
And you gizmo have far too much time on your hands if you notice things like that.
...and Denis would be one of the unfortunate native bearers presumably.
Enjoy you time away
Can't believe its time to say bye bye to Giz again!!!!! sigh... you could try to get a photo of some exotic seafaring insect I'm sure one or two must land on the ship? anyway bon voyage chum will miss you x
Nice one Milly and happy birthday for earlier in the week x
Thanks Shaggy I do believe it is a Jay or so Maka tells me and well done Dennis for the butterfly details.
The tribirthday video always makes me smile and is compulsive viewing every time I visit the site.
Nice chatty Wednesday club by the way all :-)
Re Denis being a native bearer
1. that makes him E.x.t.r.e.m.e.l.y old
2. Stanley shot most of his for desertion -Denis is a true survivor
I must down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.
Yep - It's that time again
Thanks for the good time and great crack - as ever
Looney tunes - That's all for now folks
I think most of us are ancient enough to remember that???
Prez- Re time on my hands - Bugger that - it's just having a keen observing eye - sharp, well honed from spotting the best access to the bar when it's busy !!!!!
Tatty bye Gizmo, see you in a bit!
"Garden Party Held today", (well Saturday 23rd July)"Invites call the debs to play, social climbers polish ladders, wayward sons again have fathers. Hello dad. Hello dad".
Yes thats right champagne corks are firing at the sun again.
Someone pointed out that I had still not had a housewarming at my crib so seeing as the weather today was so nice I decided to have one in two weeks if that makes any sense. Not really a bbq but I will put on a big pan of curry and chilli, jacket spuds etc and early enough to still get to the Nappa. More info to follow.
"Oh please do come". They say.
There is definately something fish-y about those lyrics:)
This is the weekend of the next batch of birthdays isn't it?
I know theres definately one but possibly three birthdays around that time. I may be down for the Wednesday club tomorrow so I can discuss it then.
I think we picked a bad place to sit last night, my ears were still ringing for most of the day. Did anyone else feel like they had been to see motorhead in the morning?
We didn't stay as long but mine are still hissing now and its like having a speaker with a dodgy cable in my head.
At least the 'bloody girls' didn't fall over on a table spilling some blokes beer....
Had a great night as usual thanks guys, yes my tinnitus is back thanks to our choice of seating, we will live and learn from that one. Still, a good mixture of music in Club Rock I thought on Sat and good crack (in the Napper that is couldn't hear a thing in Club Rock). Nice game of drunken pool with Cheryl it was like the 'its a knockout' version with added hazards to endure :-)
Thanks for the Hawkwind CD Neil just giving it a play :-)
Hello chums, enjoying the photo's of the nights we missed, looked like fun!
I'm a big poof & carry ear plugs with me .....you should have an ear plug night!
Ha ha! Fair point Prez. Completely & comically lost my balance trying to 'Windmill', think I'll leave that one to the kids & stick to good old fashioned headbanging. The reason I wasn't suffering from tinitis on Sunday is that I'm probably still deaf from Machinehead last year! They gave vintage Motorhead a fair challenge in the decibel department. See any Wednesday club chums later :)
Thank you Prez and Shaggy for burning away in the sunshine for me at Wed club x good crack as usual from all who were there, happy days :-) (have a nice time playing with your dongle Shaggy) ;-)
Beer, sun & good company, always a winning combination Nicky. As for playing with my dongle, I think it's stunting my growth already, ooh err!!!!!
Comment removed: No I.D.
Hi chums! Cracking night last night. Cheers for the card & prezzies, most thoughtful. See ya all soon :)
Chums thanks for a fab triple birthday night. Special mentions for Neil and Kimberley for a great house party and Cheryl and her talented hands in creating my Andy Pandy hat. Will find some interesting locations to wear it.
Thanks to all the chums for coming last night, it was a blast and it was great to see some old faces there as well. thanks also for all the cards and pressie (i wonder who told you all i was a bit of a trek fan). lets do it again soon (without the pressies though)
Yup a damnably good night indeed. Dennis went to the Napper today to get the stuff left behind the bar, but found that Shaggy had beaten him to it.
Wednesday club for a de-brief?
Aye, thought I'd grab the goodies for us after work, didn't realise Den was on the case too! Amazed I still had the power of reasoned thought at that point zzzzzzzzzzzzzz Oh that 6:30 alarm :( Can I just say that a 'de-brief' sounds quite alarming in the post 'stealth chumming' world that we now inhabit! See ya for wednesday club chums.
The pics from the weekend will have to wait a while. There are about 500 just from Mine and Kimberly's camera to sift through alone.
Will try to get something up before the Wednesday Club...chum...chum...chum.
Loving the photos, sorry we couldn't make it, ITT was up off nights so only a few early scoops, always dangerous to drink late into the night after 5 hours sleep....
A certain young barmaid looked quite poorly on Sunday, I did my Florence Nightingale bit & went for Lucozade & Nurofen!
Just been flicking through the first set of Saturdays photos, nice work Prez, looking forward to the completed work. Happy memories! Thanks again to all the chums for coming along & cheers to Neil for feeding the masses so well. NNN, missed you again, have a catchup with you & ITT soon. Poor T, she did seem to be having a good night, haha.
That's all of them mate.
I have just put up the best of the bunch; there were about 20 of Ewan's speech and neil opening his card and pressie for example!
One more bit of Chum (Site) news. If you look at the address bar you will now see we are now officially 'chumsofanarchy.com' I registered the domain name....posh, eh?
The site is approaching its first birthday (29th July 2010 we went live).
Send all birthday best wishes here:)
Cool, see ya Wednesday chums.
You can only enter using the period of time shown on the new home page.
Nappy burpday to my favourite website :o)
A year old today, that's shot in! Brilliant site, being able to keep the chumly crack going even when work interferes is damn near therapuetic, not mentioning the wealth of chum photos. Happy birthday 'Chums site', well done Prez,'Exceptional Soldier!'
Ha Ha Prez
Happy Birthday Chums site xXXx if I wasn't a part of it all I would be wanting to be a part of it all !! Hurrah !! ~ well done Prez for keeping us all entertained :-)

It's a good job we can all laugh at ourselves- good not to take life seriously sometimes! I'm sure Neil will add something on here when he comes back tomorrow. - Can't wait!!!
Aaaarrrggghhhh!!!! I can't get in to the new site!!!!!!!!! About to give up as it's probably one of those things that's obvious to the male species!! LOL xxx
happy birthday! wow, time flys when your having @chum@ :P
Happy Birthday Chum site. Next stop world domination but power corrupts ( hopefully )
I don't know. i go away for a couple of days and the prez changes the locks. now whats the code again? ah yes

its certainly been a very good year made all the more enjoyable with the fantastic chums site. happy birthday and many happy returns chums.
Know where you're coming from chum but ain;t that in 'The army Of Darkness' too? Ha ha! See what the Prez has done, he's put a 'full stop' on the site. Otherwise, just use Google & give more details for each page as I did. Poor Flasheart, I found the tradesmens enterance :)
P.S. Love the Mount Rushmore photo & have missed one cheeky wee face on the 'hat' slideshow ???????????
Pneumonoultramicrosopicsilicovolcanoconiosis-----Try saying that with a beer or 5 on board,!!!
did you mean Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis? you missed a c out :P
Makes 'disestablishmentarianism' seem like a primary school word!!!
Sorry, that should have been 'Antidisestablishmentarianism'!
Love the new pics prez, just think, I could ave earned a flippin fortune- & got a regular mention every week from Tezza Wogan- he loved Dysentry!!!!
ps, hope Cheryl had a fab birthday- another great Chums night out.xx
Over there but it was nowt to dee with me, your honour!!!!!!
Jay, you have your wish. I'm getting tired of scrolling down too and with posts you can't set it 'last-to-first' unfortunately, so I'm closing it and starting a new one.
