Edinburgh Chum's Awa'!
Well Chums the next away-day is almost here. Time to begin to put down on the site what has already been decided and organized.
- It's Edinburgh this time.
- We are going on the 8th August (Wed)
- For those who haven't been on one of our 'Jollies' before, its a chance to visit a significant number of 'crackin' boozers' as Maka would say, and along the way maybe get some accidental culture too.
- There are about 14 people going, but more are welcome.
- We are going by train.
- We are meeting at 8:00am for slap up breakfast & beer at Woodrow's before we set off.
- We will be leaving Woodrow's at 9.15 sharp for the station. Trans-pennine train straight through.
- For those 14 below our tickets have been bought and were £25 we have seats reserved on the train in 2 groups.
- Anyone who would still like to come is welcome and tickets will still be £25 its called an off peak day return and can be bought up to and including the day, with this you can take any train home.
Finally there are some really good websites highlighting the pubs and places in Edinburgh I have popped a couple below to get you in the mood.

Then its straight to the Napper for debriefing.
Disclaimer - Please do not feel obliged to drink 500 kegs no one is under any pressure and tea, soft drinks and even water is acceptable. If anyone drinks 500 kegs it is at their own risk but we will try to scrape them up to put onto the train (it may not of course be the train to Carlisle)
